A bit about Swissport...
Puckator Ltd is a UK-based wholesale importer and supplier of giftware, homeware, novelty items, toys and licensed products.
Founded in 1990, it has grown from a small arts-and-crafts importer to a global distribution business serving retailers and gift shops across more than 30 countries. With a strong commitment to quality, design and competitive pricing, Puckator delivers a vast and constantly updated catalogue of gifts, stationery, home decor and licensed merchandise — combining in-house creative design with trend-driven sourcing to stay ahead in the market.
My mission...
During my time at Puckator, I worked across a wide range of creative projects, supporting both the social media and wider marketing strategy alongside the Head of Marketing.
As a giftware supplier, the business required a constant mix of digital and print assets, and my graphic design background allowed me to contribute to both. One of my key achievements was developing a new photography style for their brochures and catalogues — planning every shot, coordinating product logistics, working closely with freelance photographers, and attending each shoot to ensure consistency and elevate the overall visual quality.
I also worked on several product ranges and packaging designs, giving me a strong understanding of the full product development process from concept to completion. I was fortunate to design the ‘Over the Rainbow’ range, created in support of healthcare teams across the world during Covid-19, with a percentage of profits donated to charity. I hand-designed the patterns and developed every product and its packaging. The range went on to become one of Puckator’s most popular and best-performing collections of all time.
